March Campaign - Meta For Sterek
Mar. 2nd, 2013 04:07 pm
As March has arrived, it is also time for us to announce our next Call to Love!
This month is Meta for Sterek, a.k.a. MARCH META MADNESS!
Strap on your thinking caps, fandom, and get ready to join us in spelunking through the archives in search of all those amazing artifacts of meta from the past two seasons! We know it’s out there, we just need some help finding it, and that’s where this month’s Call to Love comes in!
- What we are asking:
We need you to send us your Sterek meta! If you’ve written us, send us a link to it so we can add the link to our archive page! If you have found it and it belongs to someone else, you can send us the link and we will do our best to contact the author so we can add it to our archive page!
Have meta you’ve been contemplating writing? Now’s your chance! Get it written up and pass it along for the archive!
NOTE: We are also accepting meta that is purely for Stiles or purely for Derek for our “Stiles Meta” and “Derek Meta” sections, as well as submissions of meta that are NOT Sterek for the “General Meta” section of the archive. We don’t believe there is such a thing as too much meta, so don’t be afraid to submit links to gems that are not Sterek related!
- Who can participate:
Anyone that has written or read meta can send us links to their own meta or the meta they have read and loved! If the meta does not belong to you, we will attempt to contact the creator to get permission to post a link to it on our archive.
- When to post:
Any time during the month of March!
- Where to post:
You can submit meta links to our Tumblr askbox, to our Tumblr fan mail, to our Twitter (@SterekCampaign), or to our e-mail (SterekCampaign@gmail.com)! We will link the archive to our Facebook, Livejournal, Twitter, and other social media sites at the end of the month.
This month, help us to compile a library full of Sterek meta that is easily accessible to new and old Sterek fans alike! Never again have to go searching through the internet for that one piece of meta you vaguely remember. No more fumbling for reasons or explanations when someone asks “But why?”
On top of the fandom’s submissions, we will be on a rather epic treasure hunt through the tags and archives of the fandom, searching for meta that has been buried by hiatus. We will also post at least twice a week with new meta ideas and take submissions about the weekly topics, so put on your thinking caps!
The archive has begun here, come check it out!
